They harvest early in their life cycle when they are about two weeks old. Microgreens can be used raw or cooked and have a short shelf life of one to two days. They are usually found in salads, sandwiches and soups as garnishes for their colour, texture and flavour.

Round two of superfoods

Superfoods are foods that are rich in vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. You can grown them in the ground or on trees and have been used for centuries by traditional cultures to provide health benefits beyond basic nutrition.

Superfoods can help you feel energized, prevent disease and promote cellular repair. Eating them regularly may help lower your risk of diabetes, heart disease and certain cancers. They can also boost your immune system function and reduce inflammation — all while keeping you feeling full longer, so you don’t overeat later on!

Spice up your life

One of the biggest trends in the food world is spiciness. A whole host of new spices have made their way into our diets, and they’re not going away anytime soon. From Indian curries to Mexican tacos, nearly every culture has its own unique blend of spices that can be used to add a bit of zest (and heat!) to any dish.

Spice up your life by trying some new flavours—you may just find that you like them!

Deconstructed dishes

Deconstructed dishes are a great way to make the most of seasonal ingredients, leave less food waste behind and reduce your carbon footprint.

They’re also an easy way to eat more vegetables, which is something I’m always looking for ways to do!

Meet the new sugar

Sugar is a natural ingredient you can make from a variety of sources: cane, palm, and beet. Sugar you can use in all kinds of foods—from cakes to ice cream to candy and much more. And it’s delicious!

Natural wine and craft cocktails

The latest trends in food are natural wine and craft cocktails. Natural wines are made using organic and biodynamic farming methods, which produce a more pure product than traditional winemaking. Using these methods also allows for a greater range of flavour profiles since the grapes are not subject to any additives or chemicals.

Conclusion

We’re looking forward to the future of food!
