1. Le Caf\u00e9 <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

As its name suggests, Le Caf\u00e9 brings a slice of Paris to Caf\u00e9 Restaurants in Mylapore. The French-style decor with rustic wooden furniture makes you feel like you\u2019re dining on the streets of Paris. The menu features excellent Continental cuisine ranging from pasta, pizza, salads to a wide range of desserts. The Nutella Pancakes and Tiramisu are must-tries.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n

2. Caf\u00e9 Coffee Day<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

When you just want good coffee and quick bites, Caf\u00e9 Coffee Day is my go-to. This hugely popular Indian chain serves excellent coffee sourced from its own estates. I like to get work done or have conversations over their Coffee Frappe and Chicken Salad Sandwich. It has cozy interiors and free WiFi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Ratna Caf\u00e9 <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

For piping hot South Indian fare, head to Ratna Caf\u00e9. It has been comfortingly consistent for over 60 years. I recommend trying their soft idlis, crisp vadas, and refreshing filter coffee. Their Ghee Roast Dosa and Pongal are also highlights. The old-world charm of the place also makes the food taste better!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. The Madras Pancake Company<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This cute caf\u00e9 specializes in pancakes with creative savory and sweet topping options. The Paneer Tikka Pancake, Chicken Tikka Pancake and Nutella Pancakes are personal favorites. With rainbow-bright interiors and friendly staff, the Madras Pancake Company makes for a lovely casual dining option in Caf\u00e9 Restaurants in Mylapore.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. Anokhi Caf\u00e9<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Anokhi offers the best baked goods in Mylapore. Situated inside the Anokhi clothing store, it has a relaxing, feminine vibe. One has to try their whole wheat blueberry muffins, chocolate chip banana bread and cinnamon swirl cakes. Make sure to sip Moroccan mint tea as you enjoy the tasty treats.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

6. Ramashraya <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

For delicious South Indian vegetarian fare, Ramashraya is an iconic institution. Housed in a traditional building, the cozy indoor seating transports you back in time. Savor the flavorful and healthy sambar-vada, rasam-rice and curd rice combinations. The special filter coffee and badam milkshake are the perfect endings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7. Xtasi Caf\u00e9 & Bistro<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

When you want to indulge your taste buds, head to Xtasi. The eclectic menu includes everything from pastas, burgers, pizzas to biryanis and Indian Chinese. I love starting my meal with a Watermelon Feta Mint Salad followed by either their Xtasi Chicken Pizza or Paneer Exotica Pasta. It offers great food, music and vibes.<\/p>\n\n\n
